As part of the capacity-building efforts in the Horizon 2020 projects ENGAGE and NAVIGATE, a new tutorial on how to translate GAMS model results to the IAMC data format and template used in numerous projects and in the IPCC AR6 has been developed.

The illustrative workflow uses the transport tutorial by Dantzig & Rosenthal, which is the GAMS model most commonly used for tutorials. It is implemented with the Python packages „gdxtools“ to import the results and „pyam“ for scenario data processing and analysis.
