The CMCC Foundation launches the CMCC Climate Change Communication Award “Rebecca Ballestra” to showcase, promote and award the best initiatives raising awareness on climate change, already available to the public.
From journalism to arts, from data visualization to literature, from comics to music, theatre, radio, photographs, and any form of communication that has the potential to inform people, improve awareness of one of the most prominent challenges of our times and engage the public to bring the change we need.
The CMCC Climate Change Communication Award honours the memory of the artist Rebecca Ballestra, who collaborated with the CMCC Foundation in cultural initiatives such as the Festival For the Earth – sustainable visions in art and science.
The Award winner and finalists will be announced at a high-level event in autumn 2021. The author(s) of the winning project will have the opportunity to present their project and their work at the event and will receive a cash prize of 5,000 Euro.
