UT-ORII Fellow: Economics and Employment Modeler

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a UT-ORII Fellow specializing in Economics and Employment Modeling. The role focuses on analyzing the economic and employment impacts of policies and market actions aimed at expanding the global bioeconomy and achieving carbon neutrality, with a particular emphasis on the Southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead studies on local and regional economic and employment impacts related to the bioeconomy and carbon neutrality initiatives.
  • Develop innovative methodologies to incorporate human capital into economic and employment models.
  • Collaborate with social scientists and political economists to integrate empirical data on labor availability and workforce training needs.

Qualifications:
