Climate Analytics is currently seeking a new *Senior Expert (or Professional) for its Climate Policy Team based in Berlin.**
The Senior Expert will lead the Climate Analytics’ work analysing global pathways aligned with the Paris Agreement’s long-term temperature goal and assess the implications of these global pathways for different sectors and countries. This role bridges quantitative and qualitative policy analysis and includes developing tools and methods for tracking climate mitigation action and providing scientific assessments of fossil-fuel phase-out and zero carbon scale-up requirements in Paris Agreement compatible pathways. Additionally, the role involves delivering evidence-based analysis of different mitigation options, including their benefits and potential trade-offs. Furthermore, the senior expert will line manage a small number of staff and actively contribute to and lead on the development and acquisition of new projects.
