PIK’s Research Department III Transformation Pathways is seeking a
Research project coordinator (m/w/d)
for a number of third party funded projects, among others a collaboration with the Center for Global Commons at University of Tokyo and RIKEN Research Institute starting as soon as possible.
The collaborative project will focus on managing the Global Commons within planetary boundaries. The position is funded until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability if the collaboration is extended. Remuneration is in accordance with the German public tariff scheme (TV-L Brandenburg), salary group E 13. This is a full-time position with a weekly working time of 40 hours per week. Appointment is conditional on approval by the funding agency. The position can be filled on a part-time basis.

Master’s degree, e.g. in economics, social or natural sciences or a similar field of study
Experience in the implementation of research projects and ideally in the acquisition of research projects
Experience in organizing science communication and stakeholder interaction are welcome
Experience in working with research administrations and funding organizations are an asset
