We are seeking a Research Fellow for the ClimEnergise project to integrate climate-aware approaches into national energy and power system models. The role focuses on addressing challenges from increasing climate variability in Ireland’s energy transition, working at the intersection of climate science, energy systems analysis, and power systems planning. The candidate will develop a modelling framework that translates climate signals into cost-optimal, operationally feasible investment decisions. Experience in energy and power systems modelling is highly valued.
