The chair of environmental and resource economics at the institute for economics of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel is looking for a postdoctoral researcher (m/f/d) from February 1st 2026 or later, initially for 3 years with a 3-year extension after internal evaluation.

The chair’s research focuses on climate change economics, policy instrument and institution modeling as well as applying game theory to understand incentives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The methods include analytical and numerical integrated assessment modeling as well as empirical data analysis.
