The position will support a multi-year international collaboration among leading integrated assessment and energy system modeling teams and help expand NREL’s energy systems modeling suite in CDR technologies. Besides informing critical global efforts for long-term planning, this position will also support regional-level net-zero decision making, working with local governments, island communities, and/or cities.
