The Economics Department of the OECD welcomes applications for a consultant to conduct a systematic literature review of the empirical literature that analyses the effectiveness of climate change mitigation policies on emissions.
The work will be done remotely, and would need to be conducted during the March-November 2023 period, with flexibility on the precise duration of the contract.
The selected candidate will prepare a comprehensive review of the existing empirical literature that quantifies effects of climate change mitigation or mitigation-relevant policies on GHG emissions. The systematic review will cover available papers across several countries and economic sectors, including power, industry, transport, the building sector and agriculture.
The ideal candidate is an early-to mid-career researcher (or an advanced PhD student) with a research interest and in-depth knowledge of the ex-post empirical literature on effectiveness of climate change mitigation policies.
