IAMC Annual Meeting 2026: Call for Thematic Areas – Parallel Sessions

As we prepare for the 19th IAMC Annual Meeting, we invite the community to contribute ideas for parallel sessions in new thematic areas that are not yet included in the existing list of topics.

As we prepare for the 19th IAMC Annual Meeting, we invite the community to contribute ideas for parallel sessions in new thematic areas that are not yet included in the existing list of topics.

The intention is that the proposed sessions will become part of the call for abstracts (and the abstract selection will be partly handled by the those that took the initiative for the session). It is important to note, however, that all sessions (also these new sessions) will be open for abstracts of the full community during the call for abstracts.

All suggestions will be reviewed by the IAMC Scientific Steering Committee. While we aim to incorporate as many new ideas as possible, please note that the number of parallel sessions we can accept is limited. In cases where we receive similar contributions, we will reach out to the conveners to explore opportunities for collaboration and consolidation for the full call of abstracts. Conveners should include a concise description (<500 characters) of the scientific topic and why it is relevant and timely.

Please submit your suggestions via this link by 13 February 2026.
